Pronil ACR 900
High-expansion hydrophilic waterstop designed to seal concrete joints and prevent water penetration.
Pronil ACR 900
High-Expansion Hydrophilic Waterstop
Pronil ACR is a new generation, high performance acrylic polymer based expanding tape. The ACR 900 line is formulated for significantly higher expansion, shrinking back to its original dimension in a dry state and re-expanding strongly on contact with water — suited to joints exposed to greater water pressure and movement.
- Concrete construction joints
- High water-pressure areas
- Wall-to-base connections
- Interface sections between existing & new concrete
Application & Performance
How It's Applied
Conformable across a variety of irregular substrates, ACR 900 forms an impermeable barrier against water once embedded in concrete. It requires no welding and no hardening time — installed with a simple overlap joint on site. A self-adhesive backing option is also available for easier positioning before pouring.
- InstallationOverlap joint, no welding
- Available Sizes5×20mm, 10×20mm, 20×25mm rolls
- ColourBlue
- Self-Adhesive OptionAvailable (acrylic PET tape backing)
Technical Data
Tested to BBA (British Board of Agrément) standard T1-61007. Swells to at least 900% by Day 7 on contact with water, with a matching wet/dry reversibility difference of at least 900% — roughly three times the expansion of the ACR 300 line.
